THERAPY, COACHING

Jessica Duval, LCSW, LCADC

We all have an internal pressure cooker that holds strong feelings and repressed emotions. This is especially true with today’s adolescents and teenagers. When anxiety, fear, depression, and outside stressors fill their barometer up, they reach a boiling point of eruption that plays out in extreme anger, defiance, substance abuse, addictions to social media and screens, overeating, and other destructive behaviors.

I assist teens in emptying out that barometer, give them my full attention, without judgment. I coach them in what I know works using evidence-based interventions such as EMDR, DBT, and CBT.

I also enjoy connecting with clients through creative outlets like art, music, mindfulness, breathing exercises, therapeutic games that bring self-awareness and distress tolerance skills to help regulate emotion. When your teenager stops talking to you, bring them to me, and hopefully, we can make some progress together!

Bobby Graven, CSW

My name is Bobby Graven, and I am a CSW dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and growth. I received my Master’s Degree from the Kent School of Social Work in 2022 and have been practicing in mental health and substance abuse since that time.

My passion for this work is deeply personal. Having faced struggles of my own, as well as those within my family, I understand how overwhelming life’s challenges can feel. These experiences shaped my commitment to helping others find hope, strength, and practical tools for change.

In my practice, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered. I believe that everyone has the ability to heal and build a life happy, joyous, and free.

It is paramount to emphasize the significance of incorporating diversity into mental health care. Recognizing and respecting the unique cultural, ethnic, and individual backgrounds of each client is not merely a checkbox on the path to effective therapy; it is the cornerstone of genuine healing.

In my practice, I am dedicated to providing therapy to vulnerable populations by strongly emphasizing their inherent strengths and focusing keenly on their unique needs. I firmly believe that every individual possesses remarkable resilience and untapped potential, even in the face of challenges. Whether working with those grappling with anxiety and depressive disorders or individuals navigating the complexities of complex personality disorders, I approach each client with an unwavering commitment to empowering them.

I look forward to building a connection with you and embarking on a unique therapeutic journey together.

Jessica Miller, LCSW

Hi, I’m Jessica Miller, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. At Halcyon, I provide DUI services including DUI assessments, 20-hour DUI education, and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) groups for individuals navigating court or legal requirements. I’m also a DUI program administrator, supervisor, and educator, which allows me to combine clinical expertise with program leadership to ensure services are structured, effective, and supportive.

I also offer mental health and substance use counseling, both in individual and group settings. My counseling style blends CBT, DBT, and solution-focused approaches, and I frequently use DBT in both group and one-on-one sessions. I work with clients experiencing substance use, ADHD, anxiety, and trauma, helping them build practical skills for recovery and overall wellness.

In addition, I am passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community. I provide affirming care and support with gender identity confirmation, including helping clients navigate insurance to secure coverage for top or bottom surgery. My goal is to create a safe, respectful space where all clients feel supported in being their authentic selves.
